Each of the 28 guestrooms are designed to offer comfort and quality to our customers. Bright and spacious rooms decorated in a style that reflects the hotels warm atmosphere and ambience. Double, twin, triple and family rooms are available to ensure all guests needs are fully catered for. A number of our rooms at the front of the hotel boast splendid views over Dame Street towards Temple Bar and the river Liffey. It gives you the chance to unwind and watch city life pass you by during your stay.

Mercantile Hotel Location

Coming from Dublin Airport.

We recommend that you take the 16A bus from the airport.  It is very regular and only costs EUR2.20 per person.  Ask the driver to let you off at the first stop on Georges Street and the hotel is 2 minutes walk from the bus stop. The entrance to the hotel is located on Dame Lane. The Aircoach costs EUR7 and the closest stop is Trinity College which is a further walk and not advised with luggage!

A taxi from the Airport should cost no more the EUR25.  If you decide to take a taxi agree a price with the driver before you get in.

You will not need a car while you are staying with us as we are very centrally located.  If you wish to hire a car for your onward journey, arrange the pick up from a city centre location on the morning of your departure as car parks in the city can be expensive.  We can help you to arrange the car hire during your stay if you wish.  Just contact reception for more details.

The nearest car park to the hotel is Drury Street Car Park. It costs EUR5.00 over night (18:00 - 09:00) and EUR2.80 per hour after that.

The Mercantile Bar & Grill offers you wonderful food at very reasonable prices. We have a great value lunch menu on offer in the Mercantil Bar & Grill.  We believe value for money and delicious food go hand in hand and our tasty lunchtime fare is proof of this.  We are centrally located and enjoy a regular trade so if an upbeat lunch (that's affordable!) is what you are after, please drop by between 12pm and 2.30pm.

One of the city's best spots for a bite to eat before a gig or show, the Mercantile Bar & Grill serves a sumptuous dinner between 4pm and 10pm.  Delicious fresh soups perpared daily, a great selection of salads and one of the best homemade burgers in town all for a great price means you can't wrong.  Nothing beats a fresh pint of Guinness and our stew of the day after a long stroll around the city!
