Egans House is an elegant terrace of Edwardian houses in a quiet area but only 1.7km from Dublin's city centre. All 23 guest rooms are en suite with television, telephone, hairdryer, electronic safe, ironing centre and power shower. Car parking is available on site. Dublin Airport is just 10 minutes by taxi and the car ferry is also close by, as is Croke Park, the Point Depot, RDS and championship golf courses. Broadband internet access available. Each room is en-suite with electronic safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, hot towel rail, TV & telephone.Extra blankets and pillows in each room.Many excellent local restaurants and bars.We can even weigh your bags (if leaving by plane) and store(€3 per item) them prior to departure.Large comfortable lounge with broadband on our own computer.  tea & coffee facilities available also in the lounge. Also Wi-Fi (€5 per 24 hours) access available in every room and all over the guesthouse.

Location

Directions from the Airport by Bus to Egans Guesthouse. Bus Numbers 41/A/B/C : All buses from the Airport pass along the same route. The stop for Egans is on Drumcondra road, just before the Railway Bridge. Directly across from this stop is St. Alphonsus Road; turn right at the second roundabout and you will be on Iona Park and Egans is on your left.Directions from the Airport by Car to Egans Guesthouse. Follow directions for the City Centre. After about 5 miles prepare to turn right just before the Railway Bridge (over the road). This is St. Alphonsus Road. Turn right at the second roundabout and you will be on Iona Park and Egans is on your left. Directions from the City Centre by Bus to Egans Guesthouse; Bus Numbers 13, 9, 40, 40A : From O'Connell Street, going to the north of the city, take the above buses to Prospect Way at Harts corner just after the Spar shop. From the bus stop cross over to the traffic island and turn left onto Iona Road (opposite the Botanic House Pub).The 1st turn left will take you onto Iona Park and we are on your left.Directions from the City Centre by Car to Egans Guesthouse; Continue to the end of O'Connell St. in a northerly direction i.e. going in airport direction. Follow the traffic around the bottom of Parnell Square and turn right up the hill. Turn right againat the first main junction. Take the first turn left after the 7th set of traffic lights, (St Alphonsus Road, just after the railway bridge), then turn right at the second roundabout and you will be on Iona Park and Egans is on your left.Directions from the Ferry Port by Car to Egans Guesthouse; Follow the signs for the Airport. On Drumcondra Road take the first left after going under the Railway Bridge, then turn right at the second roundabout and you will be on Iona Park and Egans is on your left.

Croke Park for International Football and Rugby matches as well as Gaelic Football and Hurling is just 1 Kilometer away. Many concerts are also held here.The O2 Arena (formally The Point Depot) is only 3 Kms away The main business event venue is at the RDS Grounds, just 6 Kms away. Major Championship Golf Courses like Portmarnock Links, Royal Dublin and St. Margaret's are just 30 minutes away. 2 Kilometers to Dublin's City Centre & Temple Bar (direct bus route). Buses run every 5 or 10 minutes to and from the City Centre. Last bus is at 11.30pm. After that, the Night–Link bus services are available until 4am and depart every half an hour from Westmoreland St (just south of the River Liffey). Taxis also available from almost anywhere and some take up to 8 people.
